ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Senay Kennon, a sports photographer and student at the University of Florida.
I’ve always been drawn to the moments in sports that happen in a split second: the dive that barely makes it, the celebration after a game-winning point, the deep breath an athlete takes before everything starts. Those are the moments I chase with my camera.
Most of my work is in college athletics, pickleball, and competitive sports. I love the big action shots, but I’m just as interested in what’s around them: the crowd, the sidelines, the nerves, the teammates, the quiet before the noise. To me, a great sports photo doesn’t just show what happened. It makes you feel like you were there.
At UF, I’m majoring in Media Production, Management & Technology with a focus in Digital Film and TV Production, and I’m earning a Certificate in Sports Management. Studying both the creative and business sides of sports media has shaped how I think about storytelling and why it matters to fans, athletes, and teams.
